Paul and the spirit of God: Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. Acts 20:28

It could be affirmed that the central characters of the book of Acts are the Holy Spirit and Paul. With Paul's conversion to the faith, a new era begins because Paul was the one who truly initiated the conversion of pagans to Christianity with his missionary journeys.
With the example of the apostle Paul, the sect of the Nazarenes, as the followers of Jesus were called after the death and resurrection of the divine teacher, became a worldwide religion. Paul was in every sense an upright person and filled with the spirit of God to fulfill a divine plan announced by Jesus himself, when Christ spoke to the Samaritan woman about the living water that quenches all thirst in the Gospel of John.
And a very interesting story that shows Paul's integrity was his encounter with the elders of Ephesus. The Book of Acts recounts that Paul was nearing the end of his third missionary journey and that in Miletus he summoned the leaders of the Church of Ephesus, because the apostle intended to go to Jerusalem, where he knew he would find an uncertain fate. And with these words, Paul began his speech: "You know that I did not hold back anything that would be of help to you as I preached and taught in public and in your homes" Acts 20:20. With this, Paul made it clear that he did not have a strategy of concealment, something typical of the life according to the flesh, and that everything was done by common agreement with the brothers in the faith.
But Paul was also a person guided and enlightened by God, and with these words, he continued: "I have gone among you proclaiming the kingdom, but now I realize that none of you will ever see my face again" Acts 20:25. Paul knew that he was going to be taken to Rome to be judged by the emperor; Paul, guided by the spirit, knew the future.
And so Paul gave them his last words: "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood" Acts 20:28. After this, the Book of Acts recounts that Paul knelt down and prayed with them.
Paul preached the doctrine of the Kingdom of God until the end of his life, although the Book of Acts does not say how he died, it does say that once taken to Rome, he was able to freely teach everything related to the Lord Jesus and God.
