The mystery of wisdom: She knows the miracles that God will perform, and how the movements of history will develop. Wisdom 8:8
King Solomon, author of the Book of Wisdom, an important sapiential book in the Bible, wrote in his book in the first person about the benefits that wisdom brings to those who seek "her" with intelligence and devotion.
King Solomon is recognized in the ancient history of the people of Israel as a great sage, that is, as a person endowed with a heart that knows how to listen, and thus this great figure wanted to leave a legacy by teaching about the mystery of wisdom, which is the very science of God. This is why, when teaching about wisdom, the wise wrote that wisdom begins with the gift of fear of God, that is, with the desire to be instructed, with these words: "I loved Wisdom and searched for her from my youth; I resolved to have her for my spouse" Wisdom 8:2.
And continuing his teaching about the blessings of wisdom, the wise man expressed something very important: "She knows how to interpret what people say and how to solve problems. She knows the miracles that God will perform, and how the movements of history will develop" Wisdom 8:8.
Solomon was a magician in the true sense of the word, as it was known in the times of Abraham and Moses, because magician comes from the Persian word magei, which means doctor of wisdom. The Magi in the Old Testament were always possessors of mysterious knowledge, knowledge that the modern world, with its technological advances, is unaware of, and this knowledge, as King Solomon wrote in his book, is related with a few important blessings or spiritual gifts, the insight, that is, with assertiveness in solving problems (precision and accuracy), the knowledge of the future, and the hidden aspects of God's providence. Everything else that divine science brings, namely, prosperity, progress, longevity, and abundance, has its origin in these blessings mentioned before in the Book of Wisdom.
Delving into the mysteries of wisdom is a gift that only God can give, because merely intellectual knowledge is insufficient, and the blessings that wisdom bestows can ultimately be thought of as a Russian stacking doll, where one doll is inside the other.
