"Wrath of the Titans" by Jonathan Liebesman- movie reveiw
There will be no surprises here. "Wrath of the Titans" is exactly what it is - dunked with tons of action and mindless fun effects. Who would have seen his background approach him with different expectations? Even if you did not watch it, it's not like the trailers and the other advertisements to hint at a work of cinema, ideologically high-quality drama, deep images and Oscar performances. However, disappointment is present. The only hope he had in the film was that he was better than his predecessor, which at least in theory should not be very difficult - even people like me who like the Clash and find it pleasantly entertaining, can not deny the fact that it is a long way from the notion of a "good film", however relatively it is - but in practice, things are different.
Ten years after Divine Perseus defeats the Kraken, people rarely pray to the gods, which weakens their power and makes them dead. As a result, their control over Tartar, the dark abyss-prison, where Zeus, Hades and Poseidon have fused his father and protector of the Titans Cronus, also weakens, and his collapse would mean the end of the world. To correct the situation, Zeus turns to Perseus for help, but his only desire is to be left alone to raise his son, Heli. So Zeus is forced to seek help from Hades, who, however, takes up the Titans side and, together with Ares, Zeus's divine son who feels overlooked, captivates him and uses his powers to awaken Kronos. With the weakening of Zeus on Earth chaos occurs, and Perseus is eventually forced into the battle. With the help of Andromeda, the half-married son of Poseidon, Agenor and Hephaestus, the master of the weapon originally defeated by Kronos, he goes to the inaccessible bowels of the world. It is true that at the beginning I said that no one would be looking for a script from this film, but that does not mean that they could not have tried at least a little bit. Attempts to get a little "drama" through different forms of father-to-son relationships are purely simple, and the only glimmer - the dynamics between Zeus and Hades - comes too late and is extremely inadequate. Add the lack of substance to the images (primary and secondary) and you get a movie made up of a series of soulless action episodes without any significant bond between them. Something like a bad video game.
Even at the level of trailers, you can noticed similarities between the movie and God of War, but I could not speak specifically because I did not face it. The feeling of play is a fact and is so strong that it is impossible to ignore - we have separate "levels" with find artifacts, obstacles to pass and, of course, bosses of flicker. These bosses are the only thing we can point to as an undisputed plus for the film. Unfortunately, they are also disappointed. One of the best and cool-looking creatures on which the advertising campaign accentuates in the film is almost missing. It's about the Minotaur and the model of his battle with Perseus is one to one with the first film Kraken. Generally speaking, despite the high technical level of performance, I would prefer the more modest crowns from the first movie, like scorpions, witches and cruel boatman.
The actors have nothing to discuss in detail - even those with options like Reef Fiennes and Liam Neeson are as good as the source material. I want to distinguish only Bill Ny, who, although playing the same way for years, is still the best. On the negative side are Sam Worthington and Edgar Ramirez, who just do not get it. For the final I can say yes, "Titan Wrath" offers a larger scale, more mythological beings and better effects as well as a better 3D (not particularly impressive and necessary, but still) from its predecessor, but as a whole, fails to achieve the seemingly easy task of calling out the better film. A labyrinth, two or three strong creatures and a few good moments like the long shot in the battle with Chimera, do not make a movie.

If you believe the theory that the supernatural exists just as much as it is believed, then the Greek gods are alive all living. This is such a universal theme: when there is nothing to shoot a movie, they take a new interpretation of the ancient Greek myths. Or something modern, but always with reference to them.
However, technology is getting better and better, and the scenarios are getting worse and worse. And it remains only to guess that it drives good and expensive actors who take part in such dubious projects.
The film "Wrath of the Titans" can be called the triumph of computer graphics. And, I'll tell you so, this schedule was not intended for cinema at all. It is directly deliberately computer. When Perseus wanders through the labyrinths of Aida, I had the impression that I was sitting in a computer game. Although, they say, there were in-field surveys. But with the appropriate filters, so that the whole picture seemed to be a little yellowed from antiquity and sand.
And also the film can be called an anti-textbook on Greek mythology. If the kinship ties are at least somehow respected, but everything else is "the author's vision of history."
However, it is spectacular, and if we give up our eternal desire to fight for the truth of the narrative, one amusing evening before the screen is provided for us.
I didn't really like this movie very much, only Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes stand out and it was the least I could hope for, the story itself is not bad but I think the performances of the other actors were not up to it, I agree that in this type of movie I'm only going to entertain myself without waiting for performances that give him an Oscar award, but I think you can't forgive all the bad things they do just for being a summer movie.
What will always stay with me is Rosamund Pike's expression, which never convinced me as Andromeda.
I felt like downfall of this movie was it's lead Sam Worthington. He just cant out epic scenes. How can ı stay still with boredom in a fight against an other god. He was fine in Avatar with heavy cgi in his face. He was fine in Terminator inside of dead, cold, machine infested emotionless mechanic world. But not so good in a fiery fight against kronos on top of a pegasus.
Lovely containt on it. Interesting. Never stop to creat this type article
