I've been quite hooked on the Gods Unchained game since I got back from Steemfest, and I am finally getting the hang of it a little bit. Not only the cards which can attack but also the cards with magic, I am starting to see more of the charm from them which makes the game a lot more fun!

I have also started customizing decks myself which is difficult to get it balanced but is also very enjoying to really find which cards you like or not

My favorite combo

I am loving it when I have the option to lay these two babies on the board. The combo of neverending acrolytes with giving them immediate frontline at the end of my turn. A real pest if the opponent doesn't have any flank players.

But you can not always have it all. Especially while playing against players who actually bought themselves a nice deck with cards and customized and balanced it all out, it won't always come to this beautiful situation. This works against beginning players, with not so many dominant cards in there. I felt I was getting the hang of it with more than 100 wins now written behind my name.

But then earlier in the week I saw this post from @saintsunchained who must be a GU guru I guess, and then I was totally puzzled again. Zoo lists? Runes? Control players? Crap, I think I am back at zero again.

Or is this maybe about stuff in higher levels, where I have never entered before? Or is this written all on some site which I have seen before? Needless to stay my learning curve is steep, but by far not steep enough.!

I feel with the decks I have now I am kind of stagnating in my progress. I have the cards, I am playing my games and winning Core cards, but excelling from there to get better cards, or making my cards stronger? I haven't found it yet (or maybe just isn't a feature and it is about buying them). The journey proceeds!
