For me its the most amazing country in Asia. It has a very bad reputation arround the globe which sucks but it also has some positive aspects like tourism not booming and destroying the beauty (like in thailand)..
I may look into living there then. I've never thought about having a life in the Philippines.
Im dreaming of having a house in thailand and the philippines one day :) Currently saving for the one in the philippines :)
