RE: Twinkling in the Twilight, Riverside Hotel, Singapore – GoldenHour Photography

I took it about a year ago, when I still lived there. It's on Havelock Road, right on the Singapore RIver across from Robertson Quay. When I went inside, the one clerk showed me around the hotel for a moment, then invited me to explore it a bit more on my own. Very pleasant.

Thanks for the compliment re my skills ... or lack of same. I am NOT a pro photographer, and not even very skilled. But I am good at framing and composition, so those are some of the elements I focus on. Also, I take several photos of each scene, and then discard the shitty ones. That sometimes leaves me with decent ones such as the one above.

Cheers!

I myself isn't a pro, I'm just enthusiastic about photography, in fact I just carry a point & shoot type - Sony RX1r along with a tripod. Though I wish to have the gears that the Pros have, I keep telling myself that it won't help my photography as much as my skill. I mostly go for good lighting and composition as well. As long as I'm able to show the story that I'm trying to share, then that's good enough for me.

Now the challenge for me is to effectively express the story like the way your doing, lol.

Thanks for sharing the location.
