He is a man of his words and never disappointed any citizen of his state. He alone brought peace and harmony to the people of Delta state.

He was the governor of Delta state for two terms before tragedy befell him. When he served as the governor, he made the people of Delta state proud. He puts smile on the faces of every indigenes of Delta state.

In his reign, he was the hero that brought true politics to the people of Delta state. The man to be proud of. He made everyone happy.

In education wise, he brought about three higher institutions to Delta state. He singlehandedly ordered the renovations of many dilapidated secondary schools. Delta state university was beautified during his reign. He renovated the medical aspects in the institution.

The governor that took over him did lesser work. He touched every parts and everything that need to be touched and did everything that needed to be done. He is a great man and up till now he still remains a great man.

He is like a godfather to many politicians in Delta state and in fact the father of Delta politics. He is a solid pillar of Delta state. He is a man that nobody will ever live to forget. His birthday is always remembered even till date.

Just because of his good work, he was welcomed when he came back from prison. He was warmheartedly praised and welcomed. He saved and provided for the needy. He provided selfless service to indigenes in Delta state.

People of Asaba will always live to remember him in what he did in bringing the Asaba airport into stay. People of Bomadi will always live to praise him for giving them life to see automobile when the Bomadi bridge was completed. People of Warrior will always live to hail his handiwork in restructuring the roads in Warri. And everyone will keep on thanking him for bringing Delta state polytechnic to stay and in existence. Deltans will also live to thank him for bringing the western delta university into existence. He introduced scholarship scheme for students.

I was happy when he was released from jail and so as every deltans. His coming was so great he was so happy as well for being freed and for being home to see his great people he left behind.

He is wise and so generous. He is JAMES ONANAEFE IBORI. He is the ODIDIGBOIGBO of Delta state.
