The Objective Virtue Framework
How to Use the Objective Virtue Chart
When thinking about right and wrong choices, remember this key idea:
The best choice is the one that opens up more options for the future.
Good choices support life and growth.
Bad ones do not.
The main purpose of this chart is to help you spot and face hidden fears.
Spotting and dealing with fears creates more options in life…
While ignoring them or acting because of them limits your options.
For example, facing the fear of not mattering leads to humility. It means accepting your small role in a huge universe. You are like a tiny dot on a tiny planet spinning around a tiny star moving through endless space.
Facing the fear of a bad view of yourself leads to real self-confidence. It does not depend on what others think. You see that you are small, but also unique and able to do important things.
Keep both humility and confidence in balance without picking one over the other. This gives you the most options.
Think of it like holding two opposite ideas at once, similar to a famous thought experiment devised by a man named Schrödinger where a cat in a closed box was considered both alive and dead until you open the box and check.
Each level on the chart shows a pair of opposites.
Rest and diligence
Passion and faithfulness
Health and self-control
Righteous anger and peace
Stewardship and generosity
Achievement and contentment
Self-confidence and humility
Keeping these pairs in balance lets you choose which one fits the moment.
Here is a way to use the chart each day for thinking about yourself.
1- Learn the chart by heart so you can recall the fears, wrongs, and good qualities at each level.
For this practice, the seven Solfeggio sound frequencies that match each level can help. I like this meditation track for the chakras:
2- Listen to it and let the sounds flow over you. Close your eyes and think about your day.
Start with the bottom level, the root. Look at your actions. Did you slide into being too lazy or working too hard? If so, what fear was there? Did you put off a big task at work? Did you push yourself without enough rest? Why? What fear caused that? Where did that fear start in your past?
Give yourself room to notice these things without blame. Mistakes are chances to learn and improve next time. What happened was there to guide you toward better choices. Look at them with thanks for the lesson.
3- Now picture what you could do differently. Do not say things that are not true. Instead, change the story in your mind. For example:
I am not lazy… I work smart and rest when needed.
Or
I am not a workaholic… I work enough to care for myself and my family.
You can also use a special phrase for each level as you go up:
Root: I am
Sacral: I feel
Solar Plexus: I do
Heart: I love
Throat: I speak
Third Eye: I see
Crown: I understand
Think about each one as you move through the levels.
4- Finally, thank yourself for the times you matched the good qualities at each level.
This method can help you grow in spirit. It shows hidden fears that block your energy. Take time to face them and let them go.
It might hurt at first. This kind of inner work can bring up hard truths from your past that you hid, even from when you were young.
Give yourself time to feel the emotions. It is fine to feel sad or grieve what others did to you or what you did to yourself. Recall and let yourself go through the steps of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. There is no fixed time for this. Some pains take longer to heal.
As you keep doing this, you will see the bad habits you repeat each day. Your patterns will begin to change and shift. You will feel stronger and better at dealing with life’s surprises.
