The Dunning-Krueger effect

Thinking in the spring morning on the classic topic "why it is useless for some people to explain and show their incompetence" or "do not argue with fools, otherwise you will drop to their level, and then they will crush your experience," I decided to find at least some scientific reinforcement of this and I did it. Let me introduce to you the Dunning-Krueger effect - a cognitive distortion that consists in the fact that people who have a low level of qualification make wrong conclusions, make unsuccessful decisions and at the same time are unable to realize their mistakes due to their low level of qualification.

Such people are overestimated about their abilities, but really qualified people on the contrary tend to understate their abilities and remain unsure of their abilities and capabilities.
Moreover, highly qualified people tend to think that others just as low evaluate their abilities as they do themselves.

The most interesting thing is that the hypothesis of the existence of such an effect was put forward only in 1999 (!), Based on the works of Charles Darwin The Descent of Man (w) Introduction, page 4 (1871), although if you think about it in the sufficiently worked Griboyedov "Fate, mischievous prankster, Defined this way: To all fools - happiness from madness, To all intelligent - grief from the mind" (1825). I'm sure that we still need to consolidate knowledge about this phenomenon. Particularly useful HR managers;)

Well, in everyday life, having met such a handsome man, just enjoy the radiance of the Dunning-Krueger effect.
