Spirituality of Jesus: Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 7:19

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus laid the foundations of Christian spirituality. But this spirituality, taught by the divine teacher, is not simply about people being good; it's about people acting intelligently and, by understanding the ethical laws that govern the universe, can achieve the greatest material and spiritual goods—that is, true blessedness. Jesus was ultimately a true doctor of wisdom, the science of God, and thus he explained the possible paths for man, righteousness, and sin.
And among his most prominent spiritual teachings in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus taught about false prophets. This is because, just as wisdom is the science of correct knowledge for living, there is also the opposite: heresy, the teaching of error. The wisdom that comes from a true teacher is thus opposed to the heresy of false teachers, and on this spiritual idea, Jesus proclaimed his spiritual Kingdom. And Jesus knew that there is no other path for men than the path of righteousness.
This is why Jesus warned with these words about the path of error and its teachers: "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves" Matthew 7:15. And Jesus said this with a purpose: the path of error is a direct path to suffering. There are no pretty lies, but yes, there are fools, the unwary, and unsuspecting people. And then Jesus taught that false and true teachers are recognized by their fruit, and he explained: "By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" Matthew 7:16. But then Jesus explained about the fate of false teachers and their disciples: "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire" Matthew 7:19.
Jesus, as a true spiritual master, concluded his teaching by emphasizing that only those who follow the Father's will can enter the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of the divine perfections, because only those who enter into the Kingdom are given the wisdom and understanding that comes from God and blesses men.
