It Was Good While It Lasted... But It's Time to Say Goodbye!
Hello everyone!
I tried to give Justin Sun and his team a chance, but day after day, they keep proving they cannot understand what they are doing.
This platform is becoming an incredible mess... and taking aside a very small group of people that is active and posting exclusive content, the vast majority of people is simply copy pasting their posts from the Hive to Steem. I don't get the point of that. It's enough for me to see your posts once... I don't need to read the same thing twice. 🙄
It has come to a point that the only posts I actually read in here are the ones from @stef1, @nurseanne84 and occasionally, one or two posts from @cryptokannon. The rest of my feed is a copy paste from the Hive. 😟
Besides that, all the main DApps I enjoy using to create my Posts have moved to the Hive as well.
eSteem is my favourite DApp for browsing content and interacting with others... and also the one with the best editor.
PeakD is the revamped version of SteemPeak and the team is adding great new features every week.
The only good tool left in Steem with active development is SteemWorld by @steemchiller - and that is not enough to tip the scales, I'm afraid.
It was fun while it lasted... but I don't see where this platform can go after the top guys chased all the developers and 99% of its users away. 😞
As such, I'll focus on Hive from now on... and I am sadly leaving this place behind after 2 and a half years.
I'll be powering down my account (or most of it, at least) and I'll keep upvoting the very few of you who are writing exclusive content. To the others, I'll either upvote you on the Hive or not but I won't be upvoting any more duplicate content. Sorry and I hope you understand.

Hi @trincowski am touched that you read my content. I'm not that great at creating content actually, more like a casual facebook post but I try to make it long enough to be qualified as a blogpost, or else my post will be considered not quality content or anything similar. I'm sorry that we all in the steem community have to end up separate like this, but we all can visit each other right,just a hive/keychain click away. I will be staying in steem as I see the community member here are more civil and they don't post NSFW pictures or anything with racist element to deliver their points in a debate. I think am not that fit for wild uncivilized free speech. I want to contribute to the community as a promoter and helping the blockchain to get more exposure, I don't want to associate myself with those elements when it comes to the behavior of the members in the community. I hope you understand my why I choose to stay here. Wish you well my friend.

I don't see why bother unfollowing people if you won't use the chain anymore. Waste of time. And yes, see you on Hive, the only real and decentralised blockchain.
I will keep an eye on two or three people... It will make it easier to see their posts right away instead of fishing them among a lot of other posts that I've previously seen at the Hive. 😄

Yeah, I'm already on the Hive for some time now. My main content was always published there.
