Alex Kuzin: Google, Huawei and the third way

in #google6 years ago

The macroeconomics of the 21st century is deeply integrated with the centralized business management model. Today Huawei smartphone owners faced with the sanctions from Google. Huawei has already announced the launch of its own operating system in the near future.

We, the users, are watching the new stage of development of economic wars. Global IT giants and TOP mobile device manufacturers are forced to develop in the related business directions and increase its presence in the infrastructure of LifeStyle.

What can all this lead to?
Each smartphone manufacturer has its own Google, Facebook or YouTube-like service, and vice versa. That will reduce the quality of products and slow down the development of the whole industry. The current IT giants may lose their positions in actively developing markets. As a result we will see local players with their own centralized infrastructure of LifeStyle services. Is any alternative possible?

An alternative market development scenario could be the use of decentralized operating systems and dApps, which are not affected by third-party. Existing IT giants and device manufacturers will still be able to focus on the development of their core areas, quality, and efficiency. The end user, like each of us, can be sure that his device will never turn into a pumpkin, or all documents in the Google cloud will not disappear or will not be used by a third party.

Many experts admit that in the past 10 years new Facebook, YouTube, Google or UBER did not appear on the market. This is true because niches have been defined by customers and markets have been established. At the same time, the strong influence of centralized companies on billions of people causes serious concerns. That is why these Services require the “decentralization” of information values between their participants. This will allow users to stop being the object of earning and manipulation and will make everyone an equal participant, who will profit from their personal activities.

The paradigm of decentralization implies the value of equality of the ecosystem participants and guarantees the privacy of personal data storage. Decentralized or hybrid solutions capable of providing speed and service comparable to centralized services are a real alternative scenario for the development of a global market.

The EVEN Foundation team believes in the perspective and potential of decentralization technology and makes every effort to ensure that the future will come tomorrow and be on the side of the end user.
