This is the best news I have heard in a long time. It is time for you to start building your personal brand! This will be a gold rush for influencers.
Google banning crypto ads makes sense. Do you ever see ads for ICO's or stocks? No, that is because it has always been against the terms and conditions of using Google products.
Crypto is the wild west and I welcome this decision.

We have been adding to our Cardano (ADA) position and with the price very low it's a good time to add more. Diversifying ones positions during downturns in crypto helps to maximize profits in upturns.
I have been buying for a month but I admit selling my original stack near the high. The price seemed to juicy to HODL and it turned out to be the right decision.
I agree, now Steem has got great opportunity to grow while serving ICO ads to the targeted members... Many ICO owners may now turn upto Steem for their advertising campaign.
How would you implement ads on steem? Since steem is decentralized it would be hard to pick ads and who would do it? Maybe witnesses, maybe people. There need to be a lot of changes made to steem to support this function!
Every advertiser can make a post about their offer and promote their post.....
Ohh ye, how did I not think about that! But still though, I doubt many people look at the promoted section much.
If they invest good amount on their post , it will land in trending page, which may give them maximum exposure...
Indont think it would be ads bit more like how bloggers promote with their content via reviews tutorials and testimonials. The ICO companis will need crypto saavy people with a crypto interested audience to help.pro.ote their projects.
You can still get your ICO on google if it is in article form via an influential blog or media outlet.
Thinning out the options for scammers and bad planners.
I wouldn't implement ads on Steem. I am an influencer and companies will come to me to help promote them.

it was time they realized that the crypts are their competitors ... when you have the monopoly of the world you fall asleep and we do not want to fall asleep thanks to google that has a nice name but it's just a monster..I agree with your thoughts...time to leave facebook, google etc. corporate fascism rising.
I still see some crypto ICO AdWords ads in search results so it cant just be a blanket ban or they getting around it by only bidding on brand terms and not generic terms that google has flaffed
I'm sure many ICOs will start to use Bing to get initial traffic

Yeah, people have been overreacting to this a little. Everyone sees it as a targeted attack on crypto because Facebook and Google are scared. Google's market cap is about double the combined market cap of all crypto, I do not think they are feeling ANY pressure from us. But I think they will one day.
Most coin ads were ICOs and shitcoins anyways right? Most real coins don't take the random Google ad approach.
