Rain Barrel Thermal Mass
After posting a video about setting up a thermal mass for the greenhouse, I had a few people with differing views as to whether or not the rain barrel thermal would make a difference. This really got me to thinking is this something that might only work in certain places but maybe not here in Michigan where our colds are really cold and our daytime hours are very short.

Curious to see how it works-out. My gut feeling is that it will not work well. There is just way too much volume of water and not enough surface area for the sun to heat it. Maybe if you coupled the tanks up with a solar collector and had it set up to thermosyphon you may stand a chance. Good luck.
