You can start Gridcoin on windows by going to the tool bar, Settings > Options and on the main tab check the box

If for some reason this checkbox does not work, you can make the wallet start using Windows Task Scheduler, if you like I can post a step by step guide.

If you want to start auto staking as well without having to do it manually follow these instructions.

That would be great if you could post it, I went looking on mine for the setting so I could update everybody. It's checkmarked to start on login but never has. Which is a problem for me as my computers reboot once every two or three days on their own... it's a windows thing. Internet is at almost dialup speeds so it's always fun catching up to the latest blocks.

Yeah I have always had issues with Windows startup, its crappy. Before trying this uncheck the box in the Gridcoin options, to prevent any possible conflicts.

Open Task Scheduler (type it in Win search)
click on 'Create Task...' NOT 'Create Basic Task...'

Complete the General tab

Complete the Triggers Tab

Complete the Actions tab

Complete the Condtions tab

Complete the Settings tab

And you should find it now in your Task Scheduler Library

Reboot and it should auto start.

You should make this into its own post
