I tried several LINUX distibutions, trying to sync BOINC with the Projects I would like to attach but unfortunately was impossible.
Can you please explain what you tried and what error messages you got?
well, I tried too all the available linux distributions and I did not manage to attach any project, neither to my grcpool account.
At the end what I did is to make an instance with Windows server and install then the BOINC manager inside.
This is the only thing that works for me under google cloud. It is much more expensive but works.
the message I got while running linux was:
Authorization failure: -155

I am assuming the error you got from running boinccmd command (for future always say which command or gui action gave the error).
There is a known bug with boinccmd, it requires file
gui_rpc_auth.cfgis the current directory, you can copy that file from/var/lib/boinc-client/directory. The gui manager does this automatically, but it must have permissions.
