Shwapno, Sitakunda

Hello friends, I hope you are all well. For the third week of the Steemit Challenge contest, I will be sharing my experience and a review of my visit to the Shawpno grocery store. I would like to thank the organizers of this challenge, and without further delay, I am starting my participation.

Shwapno is one of the most reliable and popular online grocery stores among the super shops in Bangladesh. They have over 750 store throughout Bangladesh; while outlets are more concentrated in important city areas, they also have outlets in the most significant Upazila areas in the countryside.

They started their journey in Bangladesh from 2008, operated by ACI Logistics Limited, and as time passes, people are becoming more accustomed to shopping from them, and the number of their outlets is increasing. The outlet I visited is located in the Sitakunda IPA area, and the store remains open every day from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

It can be said that Shwapno Super Shop's interior is top-notch among grocery stores. The products in the outlets are arranged in such an attractive way that a customer, while going to buy one product, will feel like buying several more.

Their outlets are quite large in size and mostly consist of a single floor. Throughout the room, thousands of products, including groceries, can be seen arranged in rows upon rows of shelves. Due to sufficient lighting, the interior looks very bright and attractive.

Here, all kinds of daily necessity products are available, including rice, lentils, sugar, oil, detergent, onions, garlic, flour, semolina, milk, spice powder, powder milk, yogurt, soft drinks, and frozen items. You can buy items like rice, lentils, and sugar in loose form according to your needs. However, since most products are packeted, you have to buy the minimum amount if you choose them.

One advantage is that you can find all the well-known brands of groceries together in this super shop. Since the shelves are organized with products from various companies of the same type, it is convenient for customers to buy. Customers can also compare and choose the best company’s grocery packet after checking the market. Regarding price, the MRP of the packet is maintained, and discounts are also provided on many products.

The correct MRP of the products is maintained here in terms of pricing. Being a super shop, customers do not have the option to bargain. There are many options for making payments. There are digital payment systems including Bkash, Nagad, bank cards, and more.

There are several fans and ACs throughout the room. As it is currently winter, the fans are being kept running. The fans are attached to the ceiling and rotate in all directions when running. High-quality air conditioners are installed to maintain a cool environment during summer.

I noticed several dustbins in various corners of the room. I think sometimes customers might open and check products inside the store and take many at once if they like them, so these dustbins are kept for plastic or packet-related waste.

Many people look for frozen items for their homes, such as Shingara, Samosa, Paratha, Bakarkhani, cheese, chicken rolls, chicken nuggets, and many other breakfast and snack frozen items—especially those who cannot make these items at home.

Shwapno Super Shop does not only stock grocery items from other companies; it is a brand itself. Alongside other companies, Shwapno brand grocery and frozen items are available here, and the prices are reasonable.

Shopping trays are kept at 2-3 spots in the shop. Those who want to do a lot of shopping at once use these, and the trays must be left at the shop after making the payment. There is a cash counter facility for making payments, where 2-3 staff members are constantly scanning customers' products to complete payments, and a payment receipt is provided for every purchase.

Those who regularly buy groceries and various products from Shwapno are also very active on their website. Shwapno provides details of their products and various offers on their website. Customers can shop from their website if they wish, for which an extra delivery charge must be paid.

Tempting offers like discounted products, "Buy One Get One," or "Buy 5 Get 2" are only possible to find here. Discount offers are displayed on the products in such a way that they easily catch anyone's eye, making it feel like it would be a loss not to buy them; so, their marketing strategy is quite genuine.

To me, their shelves look the most attractive. Separate shelves are kept for different types of products. For example, there are only detergents in the detergent side, and various brands of biscuits and cookies are kept in the biscuit section; in every case, products are arranged beautifully and organized on separate shelves.

If I think as a customer, I feel like buying many things when I go to Shwapno Super Shop. Even if I don't need a product, I still feel like buying it somehow; perhaps this is a psychological aspect they use in their shop for sales to attract customers.

Shwapno Super Shop is the best place for grocery items to me. Getting so many products together under one roof is only possible here. Due to selling quality products at the right price, customers' trust in them is increasing day by day, and the number of their outlets in the country is also growing.
