The Good Vibes Contest - My top 5 of things to be grateful

Talking about feelings never has been an easy task for me, but the anonymity that this platform gives you in a certain way creates a good opportunity to do it, so I am going to try it.

I think the first thing I'm grateful for is life. Waking up every morning and feel the cold breeze on your face and how the sunbeams are giving warmth to your day is more than enough reason to feel grateful to be alive.

I appreciate being able to enjoy the little things that make up my world, the morning greetings of my mom every day, the flower that delights you with its aroma, the bird that sings in my window and wakes me when the alarm clock has not been able to do it, the child that goes to school and smells like cookies, the dog that barks when I open the garage door to get the car out, the sound of the engine, the subject on the radio that tells you will be the weather, the coffee machine that announces the start of a new day of work, these details enlarge your life.

I'm grateful for always keeping hope. When things are going well, you maintain the impulse to keep going, but when things do not go so well, only hope allows you not to lose your adversity before being able to get up when you fall. That is why it is one of the noblest feelings and also one of the most difficult to maintain.

I am grateful for the motor that drives my life, which is made up of the simplest components: my family, my friends, my neighbors, my co-workers and every one of the people who cross paths every day, sometimes from anonymous way, others with name and surname but that help to delineate the road that I walk.

Finally every day is a challenge, that is why at the end of the afternoon -when I return home and my warm bed gives me shelter- I feel grateful for the test passed, regardless of whether I cried or laughed because both mean that I lived.
