One Habit I’m Trying To Build This Month (And Why)
Building habits sounds simple until you actually try to do it.
This month, I’m intentionally working on building one habit: showing up consistently, even when I don’t feel like it.
I’ve realized that motivation comes and goes, but habits are what keep progress moving forward. There are days when energy is low, distractions are high, and excuses feel convincing. Those are usually the days growth quietly waits for us to decide.
I’m not trying to change everything at once. I’m focusing on one small habit — showing up daily in whatever way I can, whether that’s learning, reflecting, or taking one meaningful step forward.
What I’m learning so far is that consistency doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be honest. Missing a day isn’t failure — quitting entirely is.
This habit matters to me because I want to build trust with myself. If I can show up for small promises, I believe bigger goals will become more achievable over time.
This is still a work in progress, but I’m committed to seeing it through.
What habit are you currently trying to build, and what’s been the hardest part so far?
