From everything I've seen I think her account is still compromised. I hope she can get it back intact.
FWIW I think if we can ask @katecloud to post a selfie that should sort it out. She's already posted a bunch of photos, so one more shouldn't be a big deal, and obviously if it's not really her it won't be possible. I asked earlier, but she (or whoever controls her account) ignored me
My last blog post was about low SP users not gaining traction regarding breaking news, even though they were first to report it. In this case the consequences were far more grave as the hacker almost profited further from their theft. I think we need a better way to report/draw attention to serious and time sensitive issues such as this so they can be stopped as quickly as possible. Maybe a dedicated form or email address that is monitored around the clock.
Yeah, agreed. This is a problem Steemit is going to need to find a solution for as it grows.
