Surprise!
She a blondie now!
Life is too short to not try if blondes in fact do have more fun.
I was born a blonde, or rather, when I grew hair the first time, which wasn't until I was 3, my hair was light and then started to get darker as I aged, now my natural colour is light/medium brown. For years I coloured it dark dark brown, almost black, then I grew tired of the monthly upkeep and decided to grow it out and keep to my natural colour.
For the past two years, the time you have seen me, I've had my natural colour, which is cool toned brown first, and then starts to turn reddish brown when it meets the sun and heat tools. After two years of that dull colour, I was so sick of it! I toyed with the idea of trying blonde, then decided it wasn't for me, only for the idea to come creeping back months later. My on/off obsession finally came to a point where I started to take extra good care of my hair in preparation for bleaching it.
Today was the day I finally walked my ass to a salon, first time in 7 years I might add, and had the hairdresser turn me into a blonde. The reference picture I showed was of a Russian supermodel Natasha Poly, so you know, high hopes. I guess 4 hours is not quite enough for that.
I was so nervous the whole time because no matter how much we thought about the right shade for me and all that, being a brunette for almost my whole life, nobody could know how well blonde hair would suit me.
When I got back in front of the mirror after the bleach had been washed off, and the correct tone applied, I immediately saw that this is gonna be good. I was expecting to be super super shocked and needing a few days of adjustment period before I could like it, but my worries were unnecessary; as soon as the hair was dry, I was so impressed with my hairdressers work and how natural it looked on me, especially considering how drastic the change was.
We decided to leave my natural root untouched so it wouldn't be as much of a shock and would blend better with my features, and it was 110% the right choice. We didn't want to go platinum or too light, and the tone we chose with the hairdresser was a pretty natural sandy blonde, and I think it works really well with my skin, I feel like I look so much more radiant and alive with this hair than the brown one.
Obviously blonde hair is gonna require regular salon visits and good home maintenance, but I think I am in no hurry to get back to brown hair. We'll see how this wears over time and I might play around with the tones, go a little cooler maybe, and little lighter, but we'll see! Safe to say I'm obsessed with my hair at the moment.
I don’t have words. I think I will always like you, Eve. You know how to carry yourself.

Beautifully done, with a nice color gradient.
You are very alluring @eveuncovered
Thihihi thank you :p
Wow, it looks really good! Good decision to try it out :)
Thank you very much! I feel way more nordic now 😂
Oh my blonte
Legit.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind seeing you do a throwback to the style you had in your first three years. Would probably be easier to maintain having no hair as opposed to the maintenance of the blonde.
Just kidding of course. The colour looks nice, as does the smile.
