DEC 3rd - DeepOnion city is happy! The expected airdrop went unexpected because of it's low amount of total deeppoints. The community is thrilled cause their rewards are higher than expected.

Airdrop

Every Sunday there's a DeepPoint airdrop, this is not the main airdrop. Deeppoints can be rewarded by activity on the forum. This activity gives you points and the more points you get, the more onions you'll gain. Normally a total amount of 25.000 onions will be dropped over all the participants. Everybody can participate by being active on the forum. Because of the Q&A the total amount of onions became lower. The total amount of 25.000 onions changed into 23.000 onions because of the 2000 onions were put in the Q&A.

Total amount of DeepPoints

Normally the total amount of DeepPoints increases every airdrop. This is because the community is growing, so the amount of participants is going up. The participants are making more deeppoints which results in a bigger amount of total DeepPoints. But the total amount of DeepPoints was lower than expected. How could this be? The answer lies within the fight of scammers and the new 7 day rule. The dev's had a lot of work to do to scare off the scammers. Not everybody was happy whit this but after all the results are amazing! The community is getting more stronger and better every single day.

The maths

The airdrop was 23.000 onions in total. The total amount of DeepPoints was 10.11. This means every deeppoint is worth: 23.000/10.11 = 2.274,96 onions. This means it's a extremely high outcome! This causes joy and happiness within the community of DeepOnion. If you had like 0.01 deeppoints you'll get around 22.75 onions.
