Entry # 4 Happy Place
Are you just like me who, everytime that there is a need to celebrate, or a place for respite, somewhere I can spend time to recollect myself, or just have fun discoveries about nature and myself, I automatically head for the sea?
The pull is natural, I can't even imagine a life not having access towards the vast, blue waters. There is always a need to stay close to it and by being in it feels liberating considering the feeling of weightlessness that I can just keep rolling, diving and gliding through it if not at least floating on it.
I am the type who doesn't want to miss the chance of being close to it that even at sleep I need to hear the gentle splashing of the water and smell a bit of it's salty air while being carressed by the sea breeze.
With that said, I even ended my corporate life in the city just so I can have a closer proximity to the sea. My current career revolves around enabling more people to develop their confidence in the open water so they can enjoy it the safe way. And maybe just like me, I hope that my clients can also consider the sea as a place to go for rest or recreation instead of locking themselves in a room and getting busy with gadgets to further distract themselves.
Moreover, I believe that nature has a lot to teach us in coping with our lives. I also believe that mother nature is enough to keep our lives meaningful and safe if only we can appreciate it in ways that doesn't exploit it for the benefit of only a few.
On the pic: my decade-long hammock prepped for upcoming sunset to sunrise viewing while my pet is already secured under the table. Where I stay is also where I take my pet and I hope she can also appreciate the vibes - starry skies before I close my eyes at night and a beautiful dawn to wake up with in the morning.
