Foods to AVOID!

If you’re looking to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle you may want to begin by looking at what you consume on a daily basis. Our diets affect our healths incredibly – after all, the saying goes, “You are what you eat”. This saying could be no closer to the truth, as the simple fact remains that what we eat has a tremendous effect on our livelihood. If you’re looking to lead the best possible life, here are some foods to avoid next time you take a trip down the grocery aisle.

One of the biggest cancer causing foods that you should absolutely avoid is potato chips (or any fried, bagged items in general). These foods are incredibly unhealthy, as they have been deep fried in order to maintain their crunchy crisp feel and brown complexion. Glycidamide is a cancer causing substance that arrives when foods are fried at extremely high temperatures. In order to avoid this cancer causing substance steer clear of this unhealthy aisle.

One of the worst drinks that you can choose to ingest is a soda. Colas are formulated with extremely harmful substances, not to mention they are jam packed with more sugar than a person would need in an entire week. 4-MI (4-methylimidazole), is a known cancer causing substance found in soda. All of that sugar and unnatural ingredients should completely deter you from ever drinking soda again. Instead, opt for the healthiest choice of all – water!
