The sun heals your body - and this is why (1/3)

Ever wondered, why you are feeling so tired, slow and without motivation in winter month? Especially at the beginning of the year, you should have so much motivation for everything new to come but you are just tired or even worse, lying ill in bed.

And now? You are slowly feeling better, aren’t you? Very soon, we are in May and we are slowly able to enjoy the sun and warm temperatures more and more.

But why are people feeling better in spring, in summer, even still in fall? We do have sun during winter month, too. Of course, not as long and not as often as during summer month, but why is the impact such huge?
Why are we always getting sick in winter? Mainly, why are there every year again this ways of flu? And what does it have to do with Vitamin D3?
I guess, in the meantime, everybody heard about this magic bullet, which is even capable of healing cancer and other bad ailments.

Cold and dark in winter month

The evolutionary background story

Racoon dogs are the only known breed of dogs, who hibernate.
When winter comes, they gain weight as they develop more adipose. This way they have way better chances than other animals- who don’t do this- to survive during winter month with cold temperatures and snow.
Racoon dogs also sleep a lot, do not veer away from the cave and generally aren’t very active anymore.

What does this have to do with us?

So now there is the question: Do humans as mammals also have some kind of hibernation reaction, when their level of Vitamin D3 decreases, which only happens during winter month?
Fact is, we do have a bigger request for carbs, we gain more weight and we develop rather fast symptoms of e.g. a depression. Maybe a first conclusion is: This way we are slower and don’t want to waste so much energy anymore.

During winter month a harmless flu is much more painful than in summer. Could it be a reason for that our body in order to saving energy only heals as fast and as much as possible?
Was it part of evolutions plan to bind us to our homes with some kind of pain from arthritis, so we can’t use our reserves? Maybe pain is just a symptom of evolution, who tells us to slow down. Something like

“I don’t have the reserves to bring you completely healthy through the winter. I only fix necessary things, everything else I’ll do, when sun is back and there are more resources of food for a complete regeneration.”

One example: Imagine you broke your arm at the beginning of winter season and the sun is too low to produce Vitamin D3. Is it advisible for the body to use its full calcium supplies to heal your arm completely? Remember you can’t produce new one because of the scraggy food supply. You wouldn’t have enough supplies left for the other 4 month until end of winter.

Of course, our body only uses the necessary supplies, because what happens, if you break your arm again and there is no calcium left to repair it?
The predominant mayority of obese, depressive, through arthritis suffering or other pain in muscoloskeletat system afflicted people do have a proven lack of Vitamin D3.


Typical symptoms of a Vitamin D3 deficit

There are many different symptoms, which may be a sign for a lack of Vitamin D3.

  • Exhaustion
  • Less body performance
  • Sleep disorder
  • Susceptibility to infections
  • Infertility
  • Depression

If you have any of these, it may be wise to let your level being checked. As I will talk about in the next articles, it will not harm you in any way to have a good level of Vitamin D3. It will just bring your body a benefit to work as it should and to handle difficult situations easier.


More than just a fad - Biogenetics prove effectiveness

Vitamin D3 is currently a trending topic, but it is able to do even more. Especially, it is not a placebo.

That Vitamin D3 is just a fad, is a statement many practicing doctors preach at the moment. But the power of our genes and the research for that come continuously to the fore. Gigantic aids from tax money and other are being invested for that. People want to know what’s behind the power of nature and reaching more and more towards it.

And Vitamin D3 is in fact able to play in this high-tech league.

Not a Vitamin?

Vitamin D3 belongs biochemically to the group of hormones. The term "vitamin" is not completely correct, as vitamins are strictly speaking only substances that cannot be produced by the body itself. Other hormones belonging to this structure group are for example estrogen, cortisone and testosterone.
Vitamin D3 regulates far more than 1000 genes in our body. This happens, because about every core holding cell in the human body has Vitamin-D3-receptores. They work like antennas, which react on the Vitamin D3. This way they can control the genes and this way the DNA.

But if Vitamin D3 is really a hormone, then we should be able to find a kind of on- and off- mechanism. For this case 3 probands with a low level of 16ng/ml of Vitamin D3 have been chosen for a genetic technological examination. Their whole genome was examined gene for gene on their specific activity.
After that, the Vitamin D3 level was increased by administer orally from 16 to 25 ng/ml in average. (I will explain more detailed about the dosages and levels in part 3.) Afterwards the genetic activity was studied again.

The result

Vitamin D3 addressed to more than 250 Genes. Based on its natural material, it was able to show its regulating and influencing power.
So, is it only a fad? The answer: No, a natural material with such far-reaching influence will not vanish into thin air- unless people talk badly about it.
Vitamin D3 outperformed the mayority of synthetic drugs with efficiency and nativeness.


Now you know the basics of the hormone Vitamin D3. Where it comes from, why it is not a Vitamin and even more not just a fad. But how do you gain it? Over your skin, right? But how does it come, that so many people- even surfer guys, who stay in the sun all day long- have a lack of Vitamin D3? And more important, is Vitamin D3 able to prevent for cancer or even to heal it?
