How to start healthy eating - by @dcrypto
Clean eating is a requisite habit which everyone needs to adopt for healthy living. Since a majority of people have become very busy with the professional and personal situations, they have almost forgotten the importance of healthy eating. Clean eating is as important as living life as far as I am concerned. No matter how busy you are, you should be following a good diet plan with healthy eating.
Healthy eating is definitely linked to your overall health. It is associated with decreasing inflammation and it’s linked to lower acidity and alkalize your body, which helps to protect your body from ageing. Eating healthy is also associated with insulin control and fat storage, which leads to overweight and many decease.
Eat more fats, include unsaturated fats such as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats into your diet while reducing or eliminating saturated fats such as Trans fats.
You have to have a significant amount of fats on daily basis in order to maintain nutrient absorption, brain development, hormone production etc. You can get a large number of monounsaturated fats from natural resources like avocado. Try to learn what fats are and inculcate good fats into your diet. You can get more unsaturated fats from flaxseed oil, and walnuts.
Replace refined foods with unrefined. Add more natural foods into your diets such as brown and legumes and avoid refined items like sugar.
Refined sugars are more commonly used and they are included in almost every person’s calories. These sugars can be found in a lot of products you may not be knowing. So check the ingredient list and decide whether to buy it or not. Check whether it is mentioned towards bottom so that you can make sure that it is added in a very less quantity. These refined items, which have very little nutrient value, are associated with increased insulin levels and thereby making overweight, prone to cancer, etc. Some items of this section are linked to hinder nutrients absorption.
Eat more natural foods, such as fruits and vegetables. Avoid artificial flavours and sweeteners into your diet.
The most important of all is try to include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Avoid highly processed foods and artificial flavours. These are linked to increasing many deceases such as Alzheimer’s, and some kinds of cancer.
Therefore, eat healthily and allow your body to function properly. Avoid most amount of chemicals in your diet. Make use of natural foods in order to stimulate your health. This kind of eating controls stress slows ageing, increase energy levels, and spurs mental capacities,
I find working in intermittent fasting (time restricted eating) helps lower insulin levels and fights cravings
Indeed, fasting is a great diet.
I agree 100% I was introduced to clean eating via the Ketogenic way of eating last January. I have so much more energy, less swelling and lost a total of 75lbs. After eating this way your body naturally wants to fast, because you are satisfied with real food, instead of constantly hungry while eating carbage and hidden sugars. I am very happy to see people starting to show awareness of what they are putting into their bodies. Thanks for posting.
This is a great article, I have been eating with this approach in mind and have really noticed the difference in how I feel. When I was eating more processed foods I always felt tired, but now I feel so much more alert.
Hi @brightideas, this is my misson to make everyone plants based. @libby i'm the same now i'm fully plant based natural vegan now and i've always got a spring mystep with out the need for coffee or stimulates. The way I transitioned was using the power of making natural chocolates (which I rarely need to eat at all now)with healthy sweetner (did you know cacao has many powerful antioxidants and nutrients?)
Please check out my healthy chocolate recipe post here
