You may have seen references to prebiotics and wondered if you were seeing a typo for the more common probiotics. Prebiotics are actually high-fibre foods that can fuel gut bacteria.

As a result, prebiotics can make probiotics more effective. Look for prebiotic supplements that contain inulin. Many people find these are best consumed in powdered form and added to a smoothie. #prebiotics #digestion
