Being self sufficient and not dependent on doctors is admirable but I guess this shows that sometimes they're necessary. I wonder why they wouldn't substitute the generic version of the medicine.

I always substitute antibiotics for the generics, but since a specific note was made in this case and pneumonia is serious, I decided to go with the original. I also trust the pharmacist, and she advised the same. So obviously, although the generics are said to be exactly the same, maybe they are not.
