Cauliflower, eggplants, tomatoes and many more has nicotine as well. It's where the nicotine is from (tobacco) that is the question. I suggest you hear the podcast. I do agree it is bad, but vaping is definitely the lesser of the two evil. I can go on and on how it has benefited me and others, I can share if you are interested :)
But for sure, I have cut down a lot in nicotine in just over a year. I'm even experimenting vaping with zero nic vape liquids. In the end, I'm beginning to feel that it is just the habit of puffing something out of the mouth, ha-ha. Cigg stinks as hell whilst now i'm vaping a Churos flavored liquid!
Yes, oral fixations are definitely tough to break. @killuminatic I used to be a sunflower seed freak and just decided to stop one day. My bad habit started in college when I'd crack one after another and eat those salty seeds while doing ridiculously difficult calculus problems. Dork status!😀
Yes, I ocassionally smoked cigarettes when I was in my teens and early twenties. Thankfully I never got hooked on cigarettes and stopped altogether when I started my family. That being said, I am now fortunate to be a mom to an 18-year-old son who, along with his friends, thinks "vaping isn't as bad as smoking cigarettes." I call bullshit. Since I just had this conversation with him, it's fresh in my mind...
E-cigs are relatively new and aren’t regulated by the FDA; it's impossible to know what’s in an e-cigarette. Furthermore, the substance that e-cigarette users breathe in and exhale contain harmful substances like nicotine, chemicals and heavy metals. The liquid form of e-cigs makes it , and the chemicals it contains, adhere to your lungs. Think "pneumonia. COPD."
My father died from lung cancer despite having quit smoking almost 45 years earlier. Watching someone you love die from cancer is a sucky, unforgettable experience and yeah, I will speak out against smoking anything that can will eventually kill you...
Thats what they all say!! A single cigarette is about 1mg of nicotine, most people I know vape on the high end 12mg/ml and thats nothing compared to the crazy high 40+mg/ml some manufacturers produce. If you put that in a 50ml bottle thats 500+mg of nicotine... 500 cigarettes worth. Might die from the tar, but anyone who vapes is still gonna get that itch.
Those who are vaping anything above 9mg is asking for trouble themselves. It is just like putting ten sticks of cigg in mouth. We know some idiots has done more than that. Ha-ha.
The stated amount of nicotine on the liquids is per ML. So if i'm currently vaping 3mg liquid, it would take me more than 15 crazy puffs just to "inhale" 3mg of vapour.
Again, it is vapor. Still the better option. There are many zero nic vapers I know too. Of course, it is always better to stay away from both. I know it also has saved 3 (including my uncle) stubborn asthmatic smokers. They have close to no asthma attacks now. True story. As i meant to say, it is a much safer alternative. You can't force everyone into cold-turkey.
3 years liao, still ok wor, if not better!
Maybe those actually vaping uncles complain la bro, old dy. didi kenot come up, blame on the vape, ha-ha. Remember the rumor those golden era of smoking days? Smoke menthol, di-di not so active? Salem was affected badly, lol.
Congratz, your post has been resteemed and, who knows, will maybe appear in the next edition of the #dailyspotlights (Click on my face if you want to know more about me...)
Nicotine is bad shit in any form it's inhaled!

Just say "No!"* ✌✌✌
Please say a prayer for my dear friend, Ceci, fighting for her life from effects of smoking

Nicotine is one of life's biggest distractions. I highly recommend getting rid of it all together.
