A lot of us dialysis patients are underweight because we lose our appetites quite easily, also like you said a bad taste in our mouths is not appetizing either.
I hope with an extra session a week you might get hungrier as more toxins get cleaned from your blood. When I am under dialyzed the last thing I feel like doing is eating.
