RE: Is Inconsistent Medical Advice Commonplace Today?
simply writing it off as something unimportant
A lot of doctors do this. It was the same in my case. I had been suffering from allegies for 2 years without even know i had them. Everyday i would wake up to a runny nose, itchy eyes and my day followed with countless amount of sneezing. All doctors i went to wrote it off as common cold untill i met one who actually listened to my problem and suggested to take an allergy test. As it turned out i was allergic to 5 commonly found items which i had been in contact almost everyday.
Although my condition wasn't as critical as yours when it happens every single day for two years straight its very frustrating. So yeah...having such incompetent doctors who just hurry to find the most primitive solutions really feels like crap.
Hope you do better now that you've found the right treatment.
Thanks for sharing your experience and for that info. It didn't strike me to get an allergy test done earlier. I've been dealing with that in the past two months and it has been very annoying over and above other issues. Luckily things have settled down a bit lately. Will get it done soon nonetheless.
