RE: The Truth about the rhythm of every illness
Hey thanks for the comment! You are correct a chronic illness is a bit different, but the basic rhythm I described in the video still applies to every illness. Chronic basically means there is a loop going on somewhere inside this rhythm, the illness didn't "cycle through" as it would normally, somewhere there's a hang-up or a re-triggering going on. I can't tell you much more without knowing what you have, there are too many different possibilities.
I've been struggling with quite severe ME/CFS for about 3 years now. The knowledge about this condition is still very limited and within mainstream medicine it is almost non-existent.
I just looked it up and man that's a horrible thing! I'm sorry to hear that, it must be an immense burden. The symptoms are all exclusively belonging to the second regenerative phase you saw in the graphic in the video, where there is fatigue, pain, cramps, fever etc. Simply put it seems to be a hanging (or pendulous) healing phenomenon. The sleeping disorder that comes with ME/CFS possibly supports that theory, because a continuously progressing regeneration-phase would cause a good continuous sleep. There are illnesses like ME/CFS or f.e. bacterial meningitis which often occur during or right after a severe infection, and they are just horrendous and I still don't know why that would happen. The regeneration-phase is actually a good thing obviously, but if it keeps cycling through again and again it becomes futile and destructive. Three years ago when you fell ill, did you have an infection prior to that? Something like a severe flu? It would be useful to know if there were any situations or occurrences in your personal life that you would describe as very negative around that time or right before you fell ill.
