Wednesday Recipe!
Hey all! Happy Wednesday and Valentine’s Day all in one! I hope it is turning out to be a good one so far. I want to share with you a healthy cookie recipe for everyone, and even lactating mothers! There may not be many on here, but anything helps to spread the word.
To start I use these ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of Flaxseed Meal
1/4th cup of water
2 cups of flour
1/4th cup of brewers yeast (if breastfeeding)
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 cups of old fashioned oats
1 cup of dark chocolate chips
I mix them all together at once for a more “oatmeal-like” cookie. Some like oats showing, some don’t! When I want more a a cookie texture, i blend the ingredients (besides the chocolate chips) in the nutri bullet beforehand.
These are the ingredients and brands I personally use for my cookies!
The mix should look like this if you are going for a more “oatmeal-like” breakfast cookie, my husband is a huge fan!
Cook at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until a tad golden on the top!
Enjoy! Let me know what you think below!!
they taste so good! I usually bring one or two as a quick morning breakfast to go snack
Spread the word, babe!
