Men are more likely to have heart disease because of sex

Men have a higher risk of cardiac arrest than women due to sexual intercourse. However, due to sexual intercourse, rarely happens due to heart failure. This is said in a study conducted on cardiac arrest.

This study examined the events of 4,557 cardiac arrests. It has been found that only 34 were involved in sexual intercourse or within one hour. And 32 of them are male.

Sumit Chagh of the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute said this is the first such study conducted on the relationship between cardiac arrest in relation to sexual relations. This report was published in a meeting of the American Heart Association.

If the CPR treatment is not provided on an emergency basis, only 10 percent of the survival of the affected person is possible.
