Berikut beberapa manfaat keringat bagi tubuh kita yang mungkin kalian belun tahu.

1. Keringat membuat suhu tubuh tetap dingin.

Fungsi keringat yang utama adalah berguna untuk mengatur suhu tubuh. Yaitu mendinginkan suhu tubuh kita ketika sedang naik saat sedang melakukan aktifitas tidak seperti biasanya. Berkeringat sangat penting untuk proses pendinginan tubuh secara alami.

Ketika tubuh memanas dan mengeluarkan keringat, jantung berkerja lebih keras untuk meningkatkat sirkulasi darah. Mekanisme ini bermanfaat untuk kesehatan jangka panjang.

**5. Membakar kalori. **

Manfaat keringat juga dipercaya oleh orang yang sedang melakukan diet adalah membantu membakar kalori untuk menurunkan berat badan. Ketika tubuh dipanaskan ketika olah raga , lemak dalam tubuh larut dalam air dan keluar dari tubuh melalui keringat. Berkeringat dapat membakar 300 kalori/jam.

6. Menurunkan stres.

Meskipun tidak terkait secara langsung, ternyata keringat juga berfungsi untuk menurunkan stres atau memperbaiki suasana hati.
Peningkatan suhu tubuh dengan berolah raga atau sauna memiliki efek positif. Endorfin dan bahan kimia lainnya yanh dilepaskan saat berolahraga secara ilmiah dapat menurunkan stres.
