Sleep is very essential for the overall well-being of the body. The concept of beauty sleep is real and is scientifically validated. People who have less than eight hours of sleep are said to have bad overall complexion and are less attractive.

They also may develop those dark and sunken patches under the eyes, which may become permanent if they continue to deprive themselves of sleep. A condition known as preorbital hyperpigmentation is one of the side effects of not getting enough sleep and there is no surefire treatment to it once it sets in. So take your beauty sleep seriously.
