Eye test for Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's is a progressive mental deterioration that can occur in middle or old age, due to generalized degeneration of the brain.... It is the commonest cause of premature senility....Still now it is not having a proper diagnostic tool for its early diagnosis.....Maxine Dunitz,a neurosurgical institute in Los Angeles invented a new method in early diagnosis of Alzheimer's ......Main cause of Alzheimer's is death of brain cells....A protein called beta amiloid gets deposited on the brain cells and cause cell death.....same like as the cholesterol in the blood vessels ,this protein also gets attached to the brain cells and make its action to be free .....

To find out its traces we require many types of scanning procedures....so without using these many procedures ,we can diagnose by doing simple retina test.....this research says they identified the protein at the back of retina and thus it stops the transfer of signals from retina to brain in Alzheimer's patient.....so in future we can diagnose the disease with a simple eye test.....
