The Death Trap

Just about 3 to 4years ago the inflows of this improved tricycles popularly called" Pragea" romanced our shores from God knows where. The main purpose was to ease conveyance to and fro the farms. To save our older folks from carrying their farm loads to their homes and markets.
Little did we know that it was going to become the taxi of our day. With only a coin it takes you to your doorstep . It enters where taxis dare. Immediately you step out of your house they are there to pick you to any short distance of your choice. My Psychology lecturer used to say and i quote " no matter how small a lady's skirt is , it can cover all the essential parts of her body". The "pragea" can carry as many as 8 people, if i'm not exaggerating.
They pass through traffic as if it does not exist. The taxi drivers don't want to see them on the roads because they prevent them from making good sales at the end of the day. As for their rates of accidents per day, the least talked about them the better. They have, hitherto,succeeded in rendering so many guys incapacitated. So many people have died due to their careless ridding.
For those who still love using these tricycles please beware because the riders are mostly Junior High School boys who are profiting from "the covit stay home " to make some money.
