The ancient language of ivrit ( עברית ) Exodus 13
The full study of the Alef-Beyt is detailed here on Steemit. The first lesson is at the bottom of my blog list. Each letter is covered in detail. When you have finished learning the letters, you can begin to read with us on my Shabbat blog (Saturday post). The vowels are marked in this bible and are designed to help avoid confusion on how words are pronounced, as if there is not already enough of that in all of the interpretations globally. In modern Hebrew, only children need the niqqud (vowel marking) until they have the pronunciation memorized.
This week's reading is from Exodus 13 as Pesach was celebrated last night all over the world by the children of Israel. This is not a Jewish feast for the Jews (implying that only Judah and his kids) can take part. No, it is for all who came out of Egypt and Worship the God of Israel.
Yesterday I prepared the meal and last night I was enjoying the time with family. It is now the end of Pesach (passover) which a Moed or "an appointment with God" which is to be kept forever. The Moedim are "Holy days" that are set apart to meet with Him.
We are now it the "Feast of unleavened bread" as it's called. This is a Mitzvah given by God to Mosheh (Moses). Fun fact: When a male child comes of age they throw a party called a "Bar Miszvah" meaning son of the commandment or instruction.
Last week and this week we have been derailed, first to get rid of idols, and now to talk about Pesach. Next week, at the end of seven days of unleavened bread, I plan to resume our continuous reading in Genesis.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and read.
@hebrew sir, its a thing of joy to know that there are people like you who still take as a duty that this is what we need to do which God commanded celebrating this feast, we are not celebrating ourselves,we are celebrating the mystery and the power of God.
The 7th day God rested and decree that we should honor this day and keep it holy. Am privilege to know that there are still people who remembered to bring the power of God of old to the new testament church.
People always want to celebrate the end forgetting the beginning. Because Jesus is the end of the new testament church, Jesus made it clear to us that He is the beginning and the end. To balance the equation, He is the God of Genesis and also the God of Revelation. Which signifies the old testament and the new testament.
The God of the passover, the God of unleavened bread. So when we display the act of the communion, we are displaying the act of the old and the new testament.
@hebrew, Am most delighted that you have opened the eyes of so many to know this truth.
I wish you a happy new month, a new understanding and a new Rehma.
Thank you! I saw your vote first thing and I was wondering why no comment. You were writing it. :)
Yes, I started questioning man when the man with the microphone said one thing and the Word says another. I still have to find where the Sabbath changed. Can we now lie, commit adultery and kill? Or do all ten stand?
The church I go to has an Israel ministry, songs in Hebrew, but after they are ordering pizza and selling sandwiches near the kitchen. I do not criticize so as not to cause one to fall away, but what part of do not work and do not make anyone else work is so hard to understand? No buying or selling - pretty clear.
Glad you came. I hope I can answer all the comments with equal attention but I only have an hour before bed. Shalom!
@hebrew sir!
May the spirit of wisdom and understanding continue to flow. I thank God un behalf of you for the matured heart God has given to you who does not see others fault but stands by the truth and maintain your integrity. God boasted for Job because of his integrity may God boast for you in this generation and generations to come.
I thank you for your support so far regards the upvote to my post and i thank God also for making me to know somebody like you. Knowing you has added meaning to my life and has given me strength to carry on on this platform.
As God placed Joseph above his brethren and above his master in the land of Egypt, may God always place you on top for making people know the truth about His word.
