osmanlı devleti hakkında yapılan en büyük hatalardan birinin yapıldığı başlıktır. evet, batılı gözüyle bakıldığında osmanlı'nın imperium'u, yani imparatorluk oluşu görülebilir. ancak osmanlı, kendi resmi adında da geçtiği gibi devlettir, kurulmasından yıkılmasına kadar devlet olarak kalmıştır.
