The answer is D, Steem Power. I've heard you get a slider at 500 SP too, so you can chose the upvote weight you want to give. There's also a slight difference between upvote weight and value from what I understand. SP increases the value, but the weight is what percentage you chose to give someone. For us without that 500 SP every vote is a 100% vote.

There are a couple of browser extensions and Steem front ends that do allow Minnows to set a different vote percentage, but what exactly is the point? If your vote is only worth a couple pennies, i don't see any point in bothering with dividing it up.

Neither do I, just pointing out the difference between weight and value. I'd probably still give 100% upvotes even when I've collected significant SP, cause I'd rather give some good content more rewards than a lot of it OK rewards.

Same. I saw the option out there for minnows to divide their vote, and to me it sounded as useless as tits on a bull. I understand the huge whales with 1000 dollar votes not wanting to skew the pool by dumping 100% votes everywhere, but for the 99.999% of the rest of us, i don't see why people bother.

The reason to divide it up if your vote is worth 2 cents would only be so that you can give more votes before you run your power down. You can give twice as many votes at 50% as you can at 100% before you run your power down.
