Joint and Muscle Hemp Oil or CBD Oil

CBD Oil is a healthy hemp extract that, when used correctly, will improve the health of almost everyone! I love medications that are used on many occasions (like emu oil) and for this reason cannabidiol oil (or CBD, or hemp oil) is gaining popularity. This oil, extracted from the hemp plant, has been subject to many legal and moral questions. Opinions vary, but what cannot be ignored is the incredible healing power that CBD oil has and how versatile it is as a supplement and natural medicine.
CBD Oil or Hemp Oil: What It Is and What It Does
CBD Oil claims many benefits that seem to include every ailment imaginable. It's a good idea to look a little deeper when something seems like a cure-all ... so I dug in. The medical use of marijuana has drawn some attention to the health benefits of hemp-derived products, but it's important to understand how CBD oil is different.
We'll dive into this a bit, but the key difference is which parts of the plant are used to make the product. For example, CBD oil is also different from hemp seed oil in that it is not extracted from the seeds, but from the flowers, leaves, and stems of hemp. Surprisingly, research shows that CBD oil products can actually help heal many diseases. Such different diseases that they seem to be unrelated, in fact ... but they are not. New research suggests that each of these conditions may be related to dysregulation of the endocannabinoid system, or ECS for short. Haven't heard of this? You are not alone! It is not as familiar to us as the cardiovascular or immune system, but it is an essential component of the human body.
The endocannabinoid system and its significance
The endocannabinoid system is arguably one of the most interesting systems in the body.
This was discovered through research into the effects of cannabis on the body. In fact, this amazing system that regulates the body's internal balance gets its name from the cannabis plant that made its discovery possible.
The endocannabinoid system consists of endocannabinoids and their receptors. They are found everywhere in the body, from the brain and other organs to glands and immune cells. The endocannabinoid system works differently in different parts of the body, but the ultimate goal is homeostasis (internal balance).
Have you ever heard of "good runner health"? Research published in Scientific American has shown that endocannabinoids are largely responsible for this natural kick of euphoria, which enhances feelings of well-being and reduces pain perception.
Cannabidiol (CBD oil) is another way to influence this powerful system in the body ... but am I really saying “getting up” is good?
It turns out there is still a very important distinction to be made
There are two different types of CBD products - hemp-based CBD oil (which I'm talking about in this article) and marijuana-based CBD (which is what someone would buy at a dispensary). Both contain CBD and both are sourced from the cannabis plant, but hemp and medical marijuana are different plant varieties.
Marijuana-based CBD generally contains more THC and other cannabinoids. CBD oil does not contain THC (a compound that induces a feeling of "mood uplift"). This is an important distinction that many people do not understand.

The variety that is commonly (and legally) used to make CBD oil is hemp. How is hemp oil different? A plant can legally be considered hemp only if it contains 0.3% per dry unit (or less) of THC.
In a nutshell, CBD oil or hemp oil contains the benefits of the cannabis plant without the potential disadvantages of psychoactive compounds that are commonly found through inhalation or other consumption methods.
Benefits of cannabidiol (CBD oil) and its use for pain, praise , epilepsy and other diseases
CBD oil is an excellent remedy for many diseases.

  1. Relief for chronic pain
Those suffering from chronic pain from conditions like fibromyalgia find relief from CBD. Taking CBD can relieve pain and even prevent nervous system degeneration. In fact, it has been approved in Canada for multiple sclerosis and cancer pain.
What's really surprising is that CBD does not induce addiction or tolerance, so it is a great choice for those trying to stay away from opioids.
Other remedies to consider: not in CBD? Research also shows that consuming turmeric and heat therapy (like going to the sauna) can also be beneficial.
  2. Possesses antiepileptic properties
CBD has antiepileptic properties that have been shown to successfully treat drug-resistant children with neurological disorders such as epilepsy (no side effects!). In one study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, CBD reduced seizure rates by 23 percent more than those taking a placebo.
While I greatly prefer natural remedies as a first course of action, even the Food and Drug Administration seems to agree that hemp-derived medicines have something of value to offer to society. In April 2018, FDA advisers approved the very first cannabis-derived drug that promises to help control seizures.
Other treatments: Epilepsy in children is a serious condition and it is important to work with a qualified professional who specializes in this area. New research also shows that the ketogenic diet can be very beneficial for drug-resistant epilepsy, especially in children.
  3. Reduces anxiety and depression
According to the Russian Association for Anxiety and Depression, depression affects 6%, and anxiety - 18% of the population of the Russian Federation every year. Research shows CBD oil can help in both cases.
CBD has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety levels in those suffering from conditions such as PTSD, social anxiety disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

CBD has even reduced stress and discomfort around public speaking.
While B12 deficiency may be to blame, CBD has been shown to reduce depression by enhancing both serotonergic and glutamate cortical signaling (both of which are absent in depressed patients).
Other Remedies: Dr. Kelly Brogan provides a lot of helpful information about anxiety and depression in this episode of the podcast. Vitamin B12 is also linked to mental health, and it can be beneficial to work with someone who is experienced in optimizing B12 levels.
