Hard day hiking

Lulu and I headed down to Prescott for an early morning hike up Lynx Creek again for a hard day working the ground for gold.

I was carrying quite a bit of heavy gear on my pack so the hike in was tough even though mostly downhill.
At least the weather wasn't rainy or especially cold but the shoveling and working the dirt was exhausting work that lasted a good 5 hours.
Of course the hike back uphill was brutal and I was panting heavily with tired legs as the 2 miles seemed to last forever, too bad my production today probably just covered the gas.
Oh well, it was good to be out in the forest but now time to take time to run and prospect down in Staton in a few weeks.
