Weekly Family Night - January 10, 2026

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Good morning and have a great day to all my Steemian friends wherever you are. May all your goals for today be achieved with good results. This Saturday, I spent time at home with my family, starting with playing with my children, cleaning the house, accompanying my wife shopping, and having dinner with my children and wife.

Children's Playground

In the morning, I cleaned the house, including the children's play area in the living room. After the children woke up, they took out their toys one by one and made a mess again. I couldn't get angry and just smiled. I played with the children for an hour. After their mother woke up, she bathed them and fed them.

Pertamina Depot

In the afternoon, my child asked me to see the tanker truck house. The tanker truck referred to here is a Pertamina truck. So we went to the Pertamina Depot, which happened to be in the city of Lhokseumawe. When we arrived at the location, I got out of the car carrying my child while looking at the Pertamina trucks parked in their yard. Coincidentally, there were two new trucks that had just arrived, and my child was very happy.

Vegetable Market

In the late afternoon, my family and I headed to the vegetable market to buy some vegetables. We had run out of food for our children, so my wife bought some spinach, tempeh, carrots, and tofu. These ingredients were for a side dish that would be cooked for the children to eat the next day.

Fresh Fruit

That evening, my family and I went for a walk while enjoying the Saturday night atmosphere. The city streets were congested, with cars and motorcycles scattered all over the road like ants. Our goal was to find a place to eat. Before arriving at the restaurant, we stopped briefly at a fresh fruit stand to buy some longan and pears. These two fruits are my children's favorites.

^Dinner

After visiting the fresh fruit market, we continued our journey in search of a place to eat. We stopped at D Royal Coffee. This cafe has both outdoor and indoor seating areas. Since I had a small child with me, I chose the indoor seating area to avoid cigarette smoke. My wife and I ordered several dishes and drinks. The dishes we ordered included squid fried noodles, fried tofu, tofu stuffed with meatballs, egg martabak, and lontong pecal. As for drinks, we only ordered mineral water and cold Milo chocolate. After finishing our meal, we headed straight home to sleep.
