Today I visited Terry White Chemmart, Garran Store, which is part of Australia’s largest retail pharmacy network. This network has 600 pharmacy locations nationwide as of date, but they open branches regularly in different locations.

They have a great seating area, great parking, and of course, the best delivery services. However, they have certain rules in place, so they have fixed opening hours. Although they provide emergency services, getting the medicine is not a problem at any time.

As far as the sitting area, you can compare it with any 3-4 star hotel, like I am providing in this photo just outside the pharmacy.

Terry White Chemmart does their best to provide most health services, ranging from blood pressure checks, diabetes management, bone health scans, and baby clinics to even sleep services.

Hygiene and Safety

Australian services are masters in cleanliness and hygiene, so you should expect the best and clean counters, organized shelves, and proper labeling, which is a must on every product, including medicines. I forgot to take a picture of the free masks provided just outside the shop, which anyone can pick up free of cost, and yes, it's part of the safety protocol followed by all public services and more so post-pandemic.

Personal Experience

To be frank, the rules in all the stores are the same, so there is just one reason I go to this store: it's within walking distance. I visited this store just for the sake of this post, and as you can see, when I visited the store and asked a question, this staffer lady volunteered to take me to the right person who could give me the solution for my problem.

In fact, I asked a question, the answer to which I already knew, but this Pakistani pharmacist gave me a detailed answer and said they will do their best to solve my problem.

Like all other services in Australia, Terry White Chemmart also has supportive staff, a friendly environment, and a work culture with a perfect professional approach.

By the way, all prescription medicines come in standard packs; no part packing; the computerized name of the patient, dose, doctor's name, etc., is printed on every medicine.

As I have mentioned it time and again, people from 80 different countries live here, and some of them do not understand each other's language, so they have volunteers in place to handle such situations.

The pharmacy has a staff with a positive atmosphere, as they provide a service with a smile.
