The diary game. Standing Beside My Mother Through a Difficult Day
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
It was very early in the morning when I felt some movement around the house. I got up and saw my father holding a glass of hot water in his hand and taking it toward his room. When I asked him what had happened, he told me that my mother was not feeling well. This worried me a lot because I have great affection for my mother, and just hearing about her illness made me feel shocked for some time. When I saw her, I became very restless and stayed with her until the sun rose above the horizon.
My father went into the kitchen to prepare breakfast, and during that time I remained beside my mother, taking care of her. After we finished our breakfast, I started my car and took my mother to the nearest hospital. There, her blood pressure was checked first, and it was found to be very high, around 180/110. This frightened me again, but I felt a bit relieved knowing that we were already in the hospital and she was under medical care.
I remembered that my mother had just started some new medication for her trembling hands, and I thought that the dizziness, laziness, and headache she was experiencing might be side effects of those medicines prescribed the previous day. On our way to the hospital, she felt very uncomfortable in the car and vomited a couple of times. The doctors confirmed that her blood pressure was high. They gave her medicines through an injection and asked us to shift her to the ward so she could rest for some time. After resting for about two hours, she began to feel a little better. On checking again, her blood pressure had started to come down and had returned to a normal range. This brought great relief not only to me but also to my brother and my sister-in-law, who were with me.
I then bought the medicines prescribed by the doctor from a nearby medical store. After giving a blood sample for a full body profile test, we left for home. A few kilometres on the way, I remembered that I had forgotten my thermos flask in the doctor’s room. I turned back to the hospital, and when I found it there, I felt very happy because it was quite expensive.
We reached home at around 4 PM and had our lunch. By then, I had started developing a headache, which gradually became severe by evening. I was suffering from an acute headache and had to take some medicine to get relief. Later in the evening, I got up and had my dinner. Unfortunately, my mother was still in bed, and we had to eat without her, which made the meal feel tasteless. Around 11:30 PM, we went to sleep, and I stayed in the same room as my mother to take care of her.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.

I hope your mother gets well soon
