Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

A function was to be held at our home a day after some of our relatives were to arrive at our place. For that reason, we needed to prepare some traditional Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine, and the preparations had to begin a day in advance since the event was to be hosted at our home. I had to get up very early to start my day, complete some of my tasks, and be fully prepared to receive the guests the next day.

In this regard, I had to clear the approach road to our house, which was covered with snow that had fallen from the roofs of our house and the shopping complex just opposite it. It did not look good at all, as the snow was piled up unevenly on one side. For this reason, I had to work throughout the day to remove it. I woke up early and began my day by offering the morning prayers and prostrating in reverence before the Almighty. After finishing my prayers, I completed some necessary applications and quickly returned home to have breakfast. Then I started attending to the tasks that were essential.

I collected all the items that were required for the function. As the sun came out strongly and the snow had softened, it was the right time to clear the approach. Instead of removing all the snow at once, I first spread it evenly so that it could melt, as the temperature had risen significantly. Within two or three hours, most of it had melted. The remaining portion, which was much less than before, had to be removed with spades and thrown into the open area.

After that, it was time to begin the cleaning work. I cleaned not only the rooms inside the house but also the outer areas to make everything look presentable. Later in the day, I went to bring some important items such as rice, spices, oil, and other essentials so that everything would be properly arranged for the function.

In the evening, after finishing all my tasks, I found some time to meet my friends at the market, where we usually gather. It has almost become a habit for us to meet there in the evenings, and that is what adds meaning to our lives, as life would feel incomplete without friends. That is something I truly value.

It was a good and productive day for me. I managed to complete many tasks that would otherwise have fallen upon my mother or my sister-in-law, who is pregnant and not in a position to handle such work. Although I could not read even a single page of the books I usually study every day, I was still satisfied with what I had accomplished. I will try to complete my reading targets in the coming days.

After returning from the market, I had dinner and also watched television, as there was an exciting match between India and Pakistan, which eventually ended in a comprehensive victory for India. After the match, feeling tired from the day’s work, I went to bed and called it a day.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
