Hi friends,
We went to Ooty last Saturday. On the way, we stopped at a restaurant in Mettupalayam to have breakfast. The restaurant complex was very large; it looked big enough to park about 100 cars. There were about 20 shops throughout the complex. The restaurant itself was more than a ten thousand square feet.

The restaurant had a unique feature: they had a miniature replica of Coimbatore's very famous Isha Yoga's "AADI YOGI" statue. Although it was called a miniature, it was quite large. I went to see it. There was a step leading to the miniature statue, and it was very pleasant to go there and sit nearby. The statue looked just like the real Adiyogi statue.

I thought it was perfect for taking selfies, which is why people come here to take pictures. Also, since many tourists travel to Ooty, this was designed to attract them. The entire complex looked beautiful from above, and I took pictures of it. I also took and saved pictures of myself and my son sitting there.

Although I had visited the Adiyogi statue at Isha Yoga several times before, this visit was somewhat different and more joyful, because it was a surprise; I had not expected that they would have erected such a statue here.This is one of the reasons why this trip remains a very memorable one for me.

Since this was a newly built restaurant, it was very trendy and modern. At the same time, the parking and restrooms were convenient and clean. Moreover, the fact that this statue was designed like a temple, and that it felt like God himself had given us a divine vision, ensuring the success of our endeavor, made us very happy. We felt as if we had visited a temple and had a darshan of God early in the morning.
