Hi friends,
Sometimes, some wonderful items are sold even on the streets. They are unique and have stunning colors. In that regard, I am going to show you an amazing thing we saw on the street yesterday. Yesterday, while we were driving on the highway, we saw a car parked on the side of the road with several items around it. We stopped the car and went to see what it was, and we found that they were all wall clocks – large, beautiful wall clocks with exquisite decorations.

These were the kind of clocks sold in showrooms, displayed there for sale. Each one was more beautiful than the last. Clocks combined with paintings, miniatures, and sculptures were incredibly beautiful, perfect for a living room. Their price was ten times less than what they would cost in a showroom, and the quality was also good. When I examined them, I was very impressed. Generally, clocks don't break down so easily, and we don't usually use a clock for more than 10 years, so these clocks would easily last for about ten years. In the past, wall clocks were an undeniable gift at functions. We had received many clocks as gifts at such functions. Whether we liked it or not, if that design came to us as a gift, we had no choice but to accept it. Such clocks are now in every room of my house, and I had been thinking about replacing them. I felt that I had finally found a solution. So, we decided to buy a clock and started looking.

My children really liked this anchor-shaped clock. There was something positive about it; my husband said it was a device that stops an anchor. Even so, I thought that if such a small device could stop such a large ship, it represented a positive attitude. So, we all decided to buy this one, but they quoted a price of 800 rupees.

Since these were items sold on the roadside, and bargaining was expected, we suspected the vendors had inflated the price, so we started bargaining. We offered 500 rupees, but he wouldn't agree. He said he would give it for 650 rupees. Without much further bargaining, we decided to accept his offer. Not wanting to offend him, we agreed. He inserted the battery, set the time, and showed us that it was working. We liked it very much. We paid him the money for the clock, took it, and left for home.

When I bought this wall clock, many truths came to light during my conversation with the vendor. I asked him if he was making a profit in this business. He said that on some days he sells even 10 or 15 clocks, while on other days he doesn't sell even one. However, he said that he preferred this to being a subservient employee working for other bosses, as here he is his own boss and there is no one to question him. His self-respect was evident in his words. He also mentioned that he used to sell small items before, but now he buys and sells larger items like these clocks. He said that this gives him peace of mind. When I remarked that his business was running well by God's grace, he replied that God provides food for all living beings; we should only put in the effort and not be overly greedy.

Thank you for the compliments, have a nice day

The seller has a positive mindset that is admirable. Sometimes, I wonder how they muster courage to be entrepreneurs and salespersons. That business is full of uncertainties. But it also comes with huge reward.
