The diary game || Better life with steem|| Shopping at Unlimited Mall
The day before yesterday, I visited the textile shopping mall named 'Unlimited' specifically to buy clothes for myself and my son. When I visited the store, a representative informed me that men's clothing was located on the ground floor, women's clothing on the first floor, and children's clothing on the third floor. Consequently, instead of taking the elevator, I decided to climb the stairs to reach the first floor; I reasoned to myself that this would allow me to observe the other displays along the way. As I ascended, the mannequins positioned on the stairwell looked beautiful; they were dressed in a wide variety of outfits.
Similarly, photographs of people wearing elegant attire adorned the walls along the staircase, adding to the aesthetic appeal. I took photographs of these displays before proceeding to the first floor. Upon arriving there, I found an extensive array of women's clothing options, including many new arrivals. The selection was vast, featuring traditional Indian wear—such as kurta tops, churidars, salwar kameez sets, and lehengas—as well as Western wear, including jeans, tops, shorts, jackets, camisoles, and shorts. In addition to these, items such as lingerie and leggings were also on display.
The merchandise was neatly categorized and separated based on both price range and design pattern, with the price clearly printed on each item. Since I required a medium size, I browsed specifically through the sections containing garments in that size to make my selection. I found several outfits that appealed to me; I gathered them and headed to the fitting room to try them on. After I tried on each outfit and stepped out of the fitting room, my husband took a photograph of me so I could see how it looked. While I liked some of the outfits, others were too large or loose; some fit perfectly, but I did not care for their color.
Nevertheless, I selected two specific outfits: one in pink and the other in a light green shade. Having chosen these two items—priced at 650 rupees and 780 rupees respectively—I then proceeded to look for the matching trousers required for them right there in the store. I made my selection and picked out a pair of white trousers, as I felt they would pair well with both tops. They were priced at 450 rupees. I also selected a dupatta. Afterward, I left that section and proceeded to the floor above to purchase some clothes for my son.
Photos of children dressed in similar attire adorned the staircase leading to the second floor; however, this section featured a greater number of photographs of young boys. This arrangement was intentional, as the floor situated directly above housed the children's clothing section. As we ascended, this display also served as a convenient opportunity for us to preview the available styles and select the outfits we liked best.

Upon reaching the upper floor, I encountered mannequins dressed in various outfits, and I took photographs of them as well. Afterward, I proceeded to browse through the clothing collection. As expected, there was an extensive selection of children's wear available there. The garments were neatly categorized and arranged: items for girls—such as frocks, midis, churidars, shirts, and trousers—were separated from those for boys—including trousers, shirts, T-shirts, shorts, and three-quarter pants. Furthermore, the clothes were meticulously folded or hung on hangers, organized according to size.
After browsing through the entire collection, I selected three T-shirts—one in red, another in green, and the third in blue—all of which I found quite appealing. Having made my selections, I continued to look around at the other merchandise. In addition to clothing, the area also featured displays of children's innerwear, footwear, and various types of toys; I took photographs of these items as well.
After I had made my selections, an employee handed me the garments I had previously chosen on the lower floor. Gathering everything, an employee accompanied us to the billing section. Since the billing section is located on the lower floor, I continued browsing the merchandise displayed there as I made my way down. In addition to clothing, various types of innerwear and footwear were also available there. Furthermore—situated right next to the billing section—items such as perfumes, nail polish, cosmetics, and women's accessories like hairbands were prominently displayed.
I realized that these displays were strategically placed there with the expectation that customers visiting the billing section would almost certainly be tempted to pick up at least one of these items. Apart from these, a jewelry collection was also on display; I looked them over and took a few photographs, but ultimately decided not to purchase any of them, as their prices were quite high.
Afterward, a bill was generated for our purchases. By scanning the QR code on it, the staff calculated the total amount and informed us that a 10% discount had been applied. The grand total came to 3,250 rupees. My husband paid this amount via UPI, and the store staff placed the clothes into a bag for us. I then took the bag and headed out. As I was leaving, I paused to take a photograph. That is how my clothes shopping went the day before yesterday.
